The Bus Driver did not allow his team to lose back-to-back games.

The Arellano University Chiefs relied on the hot hands of Jio Jalalon to once again buck the Lyceum of the Philippines University, 78-75, to stay in the race for a top two spot, Tuesday afternoon at the Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan City.

Jalalon Almost Notches Triple-Double, Fuels Arellano to 2-0 Start

After a close first half, Jio Jalalon took charge once again on both ends as the Arellano University Chiefs ran past the San Sebastian College-Recoletos Golden Stags, 99-81, to go to 2-0 Friday afternoon at the Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan City.

Chiefs Pickpocket Careless Generals to Return to Win Column

With the Emilio Aguinaldo College Generals holding on to the lead, the Arellano University Chiefs took advantage of the carelessness displayed by their opponents to turn the tides of the game in an 88-82 win Tuesday afternoon at the Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan City.

Jalalon Receives High Praise from Ayo: ‘One of the Best Point Guards’

During his time with the Colegio de San Juan de Letran Knights, current La Salle head coach Aldin Ayo swept Jio Jalalon’s Arellano University Chiefs in their two elimination round encounters. Both games were as close as they could get: a 77-68 win in the first round, and a come-from-behind 87-81 win during the fabled “Kagulo sa NCAA” Friday.
