In the midst of a huge Emilio Aguinaldo College rally and with half of the crowd against him, Jiovani Jalalon displayed uncanny composure to notch his fourth career triple-double and lead the Arellano University Chiefs to a 98-90 victory to clinch a playoff spot in the NCAA Season 91 Seniors’ Basketball tournament.
HERO BALL. Jiovani Jalalon completely took over for Arellano just when it seemed a meltdown was in the making.

Arellano University boosted its campaign for the NCAA Season 91 Men’s Basketball Division Final Four after blowing out a huge 91-72 win over blurring San Beda College on Thursday, at the FilOil Flying V Arena, San Juan.
LION TAMER. Because of Jiovani Jalalon, Arellano became the first team to sweep San Beda in the eliminations since the Calvin Abueva era San Sebastian.
