Jalalon Almost Notches Triple-Double, Fuels Arellano to 2-0 Start

After a close first half, Jio Jalalon took charge once again on both ends as the Arellano University Chiefs ran past the San Sebastian College-Recoletos Golden Stags, 99-81, to go to 2-0 Friday afternoon at the Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan City.

Chiefs Pickpocket Careless Generals to Return to Win Column

With the Emilio Aguinaldo College Generals holding on to the lead, the Arellano University Chiefs took advantage of the carelessness displayed by their opponents to turn the tides of the game in an 88-82 win Tuesday afternoon at the Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan City.

Jalalon Receives High Praise from Ayo: ‘One of the Best Point Guards’

During his time with the Colegio de San Juan de Letran Knights, current La Salle head coach Aldin Ayo swept Jio Jalalon’s Arellano University Chiefs in their two elimination round encounters. Both games were as close as they could get: a 77-68 win in the first round, and a come-from-behind 87-81 win during the fabled “Kagulo sa NCAA” Friday.

Lady Chiefs Shoot Down Lady Knights for Third Straight

The Arellano University Lady Chiefs shook off a sluggish third set to finish off the Colegio de San Juan de Letran Lady Knights,
25-18, 25-14, 29-31, 25-17, and clinched their third consecutive victory in four matches, Thursday afternoon at the FilOil Flying V Centre.
