The Arellano University Faculty Organization (AUFO), headed by its President, Ms. Sonia Dignadice, held its 2nd Faculty and Recognition Night in a formal gala affair at the Oasis Manila on October 12, 2018. Leaving their classrooms, recitations and examination for a moment, the college faculty members from the five out of seven campuses of Arellano University, in their resplendent gowns and coat and ties, enjoyed a night of fun, celebrating the years of service of their colleagues, imparting knowledge, skills and values to the youth.
Carolina Laurenco, Marketing Officer of King’s Own Institute (KOI) in Sydney, Australia visited Arellano University last September 4, 2018 to discuss possible ways to promote their programs to students of Arellano University.
Computer Science students of Arellano University now have the opportunity to graduate in Australia after the signing of an academic partnership agreement between Arellano University and the Australian Institute of Higher Education (AIH), which is situated in Sydney, Australia.
The Chairman and CEO of Arellano University, Mr. Francisco P.V. Cayco signed the agreement together with Ms. Michelle Willoughby who represented the Australian Institute of Higher Education in the ceremonial MOA signing held on August 7, 2018 at Arellano University.
La Auxion, the college band of Jose Rizal Campus, AU in Malabon lorded over 12 others in the elimination competition held at the Main Campus on July 19, 2018. Nine senior high school and four college bands wowed the ecstatic audience which stayed on to watch and cheer, with the winds and rain of Typhoon Josie.
The two other bands that competed in the final elimination were Second Spring, a senior high school group from Juan Sumulong Campus, and Traffic Jam, a senior high school band from Andres Bonifacio Campus.

Thirty eight students of Airline Business Management of Suan Dusit University, located in Hua Hin, Thailand arrived on July 5, 2018 to attend the Airline Business English Enhancement Program of Arellano University. They will stay up to August 2, 2018.
This activity is part of the exchange program of Arellano University and Suan Dusit University that has been on-going for the last four years. Earlier this year, 23 students from the School of Hotel and Tourism Management of AU attended the In-Flight Service Training Program in Suan Dusit University from January 4 to 25.
Five of the seven campuses of Arellano University held its earthquake drill on June 16, 2018. The activity which has been mandated by the National Disaster and Risk Reduction Management Council (NDRRMC) is being done every quarter. AU holds an additional 2-4 drills every year.
Jean Clarisse C. Unlayao, Magna cum laude and Class Valedictorian, will lead 1840 candidates for graduation of Arellano University in its 80th Commencement Exercises at the Philippine Convention Center on April 14, 2018. She is a Bachelor of Arts student, major in Psychology from the Jose Abad Santos Campus- AU in Pasay City. In the Graduate School Department Joycelyn P. Reyes, Master of Arts in Education, graduates With Highest Honors. Of this number, 162 are graduating under the Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP).
Federation University (Fed Uni) officials, Ms. Melissa Staley, Manager of the International Student Recruitment and Ms. Mardhie Coleman, Coordinator of International Nursing Students and Faculty of Health conducted a seminar last March 2, 2018, highlighting world class education through the international program for nursing, midwifery and information technology students. Ms. Staley provided a brief but interesting history of the university and toured the audience across all the campuses of FedUni through a presentation.
