NEW STUDENT

A. The new student goes to the Registrar's Office to:

  1. Submit required admission credentials (Form 138, Certificate of Good Moral Character for freshmen; Transcript of Records for evaluation andĀ Honorable DismissalĀ for transfer students;Ā PSA Birth Certificate for freshmen and transferee; and Permit to Cross-Enroll for cross-enrollee);
  2. Fill upĀ the Student Information Sheet (SIS); and
  3. Apply for and obtain a Student Number before proceeding to the Dean's Office of his/her college.

B. The student goes next to the Office of the Dean of his/her College to:

  1. Fill up the Student Enrollment Form;
  2. Get approval of the class schedule or schedule of subjects to be taken during the term. (The class adviser or the college dean must sign the class schedule form); and
  3. Encode and have an assessment of fees based on the approved class schedule or subjects to be taken.

(Optional) The student goes next to the Office of Student Affairs to:

  1. Fill up a Discount Form, if applicable to avail of the tuition/other fee discount privilege.

C. After encoding and assessment, the student goes to the Bursar's Office to:

  1. Present his/her Student Enrollment Form; and
  2. Pay the tuition and other fees for the term.

D. After paying the fees, the student goes to the Information Technology Center to:

  1. Obtain a print-out of his/her Registration and Assessment Form (RAF);
  2. Have the RAF signed and stamped "OFFICIALLY ENROLLED";
  3. Fill up ID Application Form and present proof of enrollment; and
  4. Have his/her ID picture taken, and electronic signature impression made.

OLD STUDENT

A. The old student goes to the Office of the Dean of his/her College to:

  1. Fill outĀ the Student Enrollment Form;
  2. Have his/her subjects and grades evaluated by the enrollment adviser;
  3. Get approval of the class schedule or schedule of subjects to be taken during the term. (The class adviser or the college dean must sign the class schedule form); and
  4. Encode and have an assessment of fees based on the approved class schedule or subjects to be taken.

(Optional) The student goes next to the Office of Student Affairs to:

  1. Fill outĀ a Discount Form, if applicable to avail of the tuition/other fee discount privilege.

FOREIGN STUDENTS

Foreign Students Enrolling in AU from School Abroad

Foreign students who enter the Philippines with a Tourist Visa have to convert the visa into a Student Visa prior to enrolling to AU. The following are the steps required for a foreign student's enrollment:

  1. He submits to AU his (1) Academic Records issued by his foreign school duly authenticated by the Philippine Foreign Post at the place where the school records were issued (red ribbon) or with Apostille; (2) Affidavit of Support; (3) Data page portion of his passport;
  2. He executes a notarized letter to the Bureau of Immigration (BI) for conversion of his Tourist Visa to Student Visa;
  3. The Registrar issues to him a notarized Letter of Acceptance and a Letter of Endorsement, both separately addressed to the BI;
  4. He applies for medical certificate issued by the Bureau of Quarantine and International Health Surveillance which is affiliated with BI;
  5. He files with the BI the notarized BI Form application for conversion of visa ([d] above);
  6. Upon issuance of Student Visa, he officially enrolls in subjects of his course of choice in AU.

Foreign Students Transferring to AU from a Philippine School

  1. He obtains his (a) Transfer Credential; (b) copy of grades or transcript for evaluation purposes; (c) certificate of Good Moral Character; and (d) letter of no objection to transfer, all from his previous school;
  2. He applies for transfer to AU submitting the afore-stated documents;
  3. He secures clearance or permit to transfer to AU from the Office of Student Services in the CHED-NCR, with the assistance of the AU Registrarā€™s Office;
  4. He coordinates with the Registrarā€™s Office in renewing his student visa from the Bureau of Immigration (BI), and in obtaining his official Transcript of Records (TOR) from the previous school, with remark: copy for Arellano University.
