It aims to develop highly motivated and competent teachers specializing in the content and pedagogy for secondary education. The areas of specialization offered by the program are: 

Science. The pre-service teachers in this specialization venture on scientific theories, principles, concepts and investigations involving the challenges and demands of the changing world. Trends and innovations brought by technology and human activities and environmental relationships provide them the avenues for the discovery of knowledge and acquisition of skills for personal growth and professional advancement.

English. This specialization enables the pre-service teachers to acquire and master the macro and micro skills in communication for the effective teaching of language and literature in the junior and senior high school levels. The acquisition of basic and advanced knowledge through a variety of learning modalities enhances the instructional delivery and professional expertise for optimum performance in the academic community.

Mathematics. The development of critical and analytical thinking and problem-solving skills equips the pre-service teachers in employing mathematical theories, concepts and principles from simple to complex operations using the conventional and modern trends and applications for the creation of solutions, sound judgment and logical reasoning.

Filipino. In this specialization, the pre-service teachers are engaged in a variety of theoretical and practical applications in utilizing the Filipino language in oral and written discourses for communicative competence and development of literary appreciation applicable in the digital and information age.

Social Studies. The study of historical, philosophical, anthropological, political and social theories and perspectives of humans and the world develops the faculties of the pre-service teachers towards interdisciplinary-interventional instructional delivery and competence using the modern pedagogical and technology-driven approaches.

This is a four-year teacher education program designed to equip students with adequate and relevant competencies to teach their chosen area of specialization / major in the secondary level. It aims to develop highly motivated and competent teachers specializing in the content and pedagogy for secondary education. The areas of specialization offered by the program are: 

Values Education. The pre-service teachers are empowered with philosophical, psychological, and practical principles, theories, and foundations in teaching values systems and their applications in various cultural and societal orientations and backgrounds for individual and social transformation.

This is a four-year education program (non-board) designed to equip graduates with relevant skills in sports sciences in terms of fitness, sports coaching, and management of sports programs in education and industry settings. This program culminates through industry-immersion internship which aims to develop students’ competence in content and pedagogy in physical education and sports applicable to various facets of social activities.

This is a four-year education program designed to equip graduates with relevant competencies to meet the cognitive, psychomotor, and affective needs of learners in the areas of physical education, sports, recreation, and fitness. It aims at physical literacy which serves as a foundation of a wide range of physical and social activities. 

The BLIS program is the study of the development, deployment, and management of information resources in print, non-print, electronic and digital formats and services. Graduates of this program are being prepared to apply information technology to basic library operations and functions. Moreover, they are trained to harness a range of bibliographical and online tools to support teaching, research, and other services.

Graduates if this program are likewise expected to systematically organize, conserve, preserve and restore information objects (e.g., realia, museum pieces), historical and cultural documents (e.g., artifacts, archival documents, indigenous knowledge), and other intellectual properties (creative ideas and works by individuals and groups).

The program was based on the Guidelines for Professional Library Information Education Programs of the International Federation of the Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) as well as on the curricula of various library schools abroad.

This is a non-degree program designed for graduates of a bachelor’s degree program in any field who are interested to pursue a teaching career and become licensed professional teachers through Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT). The required number of units for this certificate program is 30 units, 18 units of professional education courses and 12 units of experiential learning courses which can be completed in a year. The courses offered are required courses of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). After completion of the program, the graduates will be awarded Certificate of Completion, Diploma, and Transcript of Records. Courses taken will be credited if the student decides to move on to a graduate degree program in education.

This is a non-degree program designed for graduates of a Bachelor’s degree program in any field who wants to pursue a career as professional teachers. The courses offered are required courses of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). The required number of units for this certificate program is 18 units of professional education courses which can be completed in one semester (18 weeks). Upon completion of the program, students will be given a certification which qualifies them to apply for Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT). Courses taken will be credited if the student decides to move on to a graduate degree program in education.
