Sunday, Sept. 28, 2022, 12 noon. The Arellano University Chiefs were up against the NCAA defending champion, the Letran Knights. The Knights have not lost a game in 3 years. The Chiefs handed the defending champion its first loss in a come- from- behind win last Sunday afternoon.
On Saturday, Sept. 10, 2022, 4 pm, the Arellano University (AU) Chiefs went up against this National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Season 98’s host school, Emilio Aguinaldo College (EAC) Generals in an exciting first game of the season.
The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) will hold its Opening Ceremony at the Araneta Coliseum on September 10, 2022. Season 98 is features seven game categories, namely basketball, volleyball, chess, swimming, taekwondo, track and field and cheerleading. All the games will be held face-to-face, except for taekwondo and chess which will be held on-line. Basketball will be its initial offering with Letran Knights and The Generals of the Emilio Aguinaldo College engaging Season 98 in the first match of the season.
The AU Lady Chiefs faced the JRU Lady Bombers last Sunday, 17 July 2022, 2 PM. The two teams battled it out in a do-or-die game for a ticket to the NCAA Season 97 Championship round.

June 11, 2022 was the start of the Women’s Volleyball tournament of the NCAA Season 97.
It was a do-or-die game last Sunday (24 April 2022) at 3pm for the Chiefs against the EAC Generals. They needed this win for a chance to compete in the Play-In round of the NCAA Season 97, where the top 6 teams battle it out for the playoffs. 


The Arellano Chiefs went up against the Mapua Cardinals last 10 April 2022, Sunday.
We are saying good-bye to some of our star players, but we are happy that they have found their place in the sports world. Nard John V. Pinto and Prince Renmer B. Caperal are in Global Port, and Keith Agovida is with Sta. Lucia. Good luck to them in their new teams ! Two of our players have joined D-League teams: Giovanni Jalalon, is with Sinag Pilipinas while Levi Hernandez is playing with Foton Tornadoes.
The launch of the NCAA Season 96 took place last June 13, 2021, with non-contact sports set to play--Online chess and Taekwondo. The league also held a skills challenge for basketball and volleyball players focused mainly on the alumni of the varsity teams. The NCAA ruled out the holding of full-contact sports due to the COVID Pandemic in strict compliance with the rules and regulations of the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) and Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
