Two officials of Edith Cowan University (ECU) - the newly designated Executive Dean of ECU, Professor Karen Strickland and Dr. Tania Beament, ECU Director International - participated in the information session on November 18, 2022 organized by the Arellano University International Nursing Program [AU-INP] headed by Dr. Emerita Mendoza, Director of the program. Likewise, the two guests paid a courtesy call on the Arellano University Chairman and CEO, Mr. Francisco P.V. Cayco, who welcomed them and gave the assurance of a continuing partnership between the two universities.

Eleven International Nursing Program (INP) students will receive their Certificate of Completion during the 84th Commencement Ceremony of Arellano University on September 30, 2022.

They are: Paula Kristine C. Buenavides, Adrienne Kei E. Chua, Neilan S. Guba, Jessica D. Inacay, Eunice C. Mendoza, Ashley Sofia P. Panaligan, Patricia Bianca G. Rañola, Maria Edwardina D. Rayman, Rea Mae V. Segui, Bryz Aldrin A. Talosig and Dianna Marie D. Villanueva.

The President of Alderson Broaddus University (AB), Dr. James “Tim” Barry made his first visit to Arellano University (AU) last January 20, 2020.  He was with Dr. Joan Lynn Propst, the Provost/Vice President for Academic Affairs and the AB International Nursing Program Director.  AB, which is located in Philippi, West Virginia USA, is a partner institution of AU in the nursing education.  Dr Barry’s visit has been seen as a show of support to the 13- year old AU-AB innovative nursing program partnership.

A vast array of new opportunities awaits the latest batch of students from the Arellano University International Nursing Program (INP) when they transferred at Edith Cowan University (ECU) Perth, Western Australia to finish their nursing degree.

After a successful visit in 2017 Gunma University Gunma Prefecture, Japan sent a second batch of 27 Nursing and 2 Social Welfare students to attend the Community Clinical Placement Program (CCPP) of the International Nursing Program (INP) of Arellano University from March 17-March 25, 2019. 
The students were accompanied by three professors: Prof. Atsuhiko Taguchi, Prof. Yoko Kobayashi and Prof. Eiko Tokita.

The Arellano University International Nursing Program (AU-INP) welcomed the 8th  batch of nursing students from Edith Cowan University, AU’s partner institution in Perth, Australia. They came to the Philippines for the Clinical Community Placement Program which commenced last October 15, 2018.

The program which lasted for 2 weeks aimed to promote transcultural nursing, providing insight into the Filipino culture as well as learning the Philippine Health care system.

Nine nursing-midwifery students from Edith Cowan University (ECU) of Perth, Western Australia recently concluded the 2-week Community Clinical Placement Program (CCPP) of Arellano University. Held on April 30 to May 11, 2018, the program aimed to expose students to the Philippine Health Care System.

The students were Hayley Boggis, Lisa Buselatto, Rosie Donnelly, Chevelle Fairman, Codey Holker, Sabrina Mahfuz, Lia Manuirirangi, Tegan Perkins and Grace Talbot. They were accompanied and supervised by their clinical instructor, Ms Dianne Bloxsome.

Three students from Arellano University International Nursing Program (INP) earned their Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Alderson Broaddus University (ABU),  Arellano University’s partner school in Philippi, West Virginia, USA.  

Mary Ann Pardilla Alcober, Christopher Ivan Bernabe, Rose Pontevedra Tryon were conferred their BSN degree at the 147th Alderson Broaddus University Commencement Ceremony on May 5, 2018 at 10 a.m. at the Rex Pyles Arena in the Memorial Coliseum.

Through their shared interest on globally competitive education and innovative programs, both parties have signed the Memorandum of Understanding thus the beginning of their collaboration.
