Arellano University’s 88th Anniversary Concert Series Was PURE FIRE!

Arellano University just proved once again why its founding anniversary is the most anticipated event on the academic calendar. To celebrate 88 years of legacy and loyalty, the university turned up the volume with the #OneArellanoConcert 2026, a high-octane tour that swept through its campuses from February 23 to 27, 2026.

From the opening chords in Pasig and Malabon to the surging energy in Pasay and the grand finale at Legarda, the atmosphere across every campus was nothing short of electric. But before the main stage welcomed the stars, it was our very own talented Chiefs, who proved that Arellano is home to world-class performers. Among the incredible opening acts were:

The festivities began by opening the hearts of the crowd with Madeline. Setting the mood with her signature soulful sound, she delivered a set that hit home for every student. Her "relatable music" acted as the perfect icebreaker—an intimate performance that successfully touched the souls of the thousands in attendance.

Then came Alexa Dionisia, who proved that she is a force to be reckoned with. Alexa filled the venue with infectious laughter through her sharp, relatable humor, but the moment the beat dropped, she transitioned into a powerhouse diva. Her vocal range and commanding stage presence left the crowd breathless and begging for more.

In a move that caught everyone off guard, AU dropped a total bombshell by introducing a surprise guest: Carlo Mendoza. The moment he stepped onto the stage, the atmosphere shifted. His appearance sent shockwaves of excitement through the venue, as his undeniable charisma and raw Filipino musicality brought an extra layer of "hype" that no one saw coming.

The air turned truly electric the moment the host announced: “Ang bandang nagbibigay ng soundtrack ng mga kwento mo.” The Juans didn't just perform; they created a spiritual experience. The crowd went wild as the band kicked off a set of massive hits, including "Hatid," the heartbreak anthem "Hindi Tayo Pwede," and their newest single, "Ako Nalang." Every Chief sang along at the top of their lungs until the grand finale, where the band performed "Atin Ang Mundo." In a cinematic finish, a massive explosion of confetti burst into the air, shimmering under the stage lights like falling stars and turning the song into a literal victory celebration.

As the 88th Anniversary celebrations come to a close, the echoes of the bass and the cheers of the students remain. Arellano University didn’t just celebrate its history; it authored a bold new chapter. The 2026 Concert Series proved that as the years go by, the AU spirit only gets louder, bolder, and more legendary.
