The COVID-19 outbreak has significantly altered both social norms and operations of our institution. From enrollment, to conducting of classes, to extra-curricular activities, the new norm is observed with social distancing and strict sanitation practices. The outbreak has called for changes in our everyday lives, yet not with the requirements students are expected to fulfill.
The school environment and needs of students have changed significantly, to which we must adapt. The University must make sure that each of its students continues their education and will see to it that “no student should be left behind” by ensuring student’s access to educational resources and facilities.
Arellano University is pleased to present the new structure for SY 2020-2021:
1. Enrollment Procedure
- Registration for enrollment is currently ongoing in all levels. The University is currently processing those who enroll through its online enrollment procedure.
- The enrollment process requires the submission of requirements, such as LRN (for Senior High School), birth certificate and report card for the basic education level (Form 138) either in hard or soft copy, through online submission or drop box in the gate of the school campus.

SHS
For Grade 11
Step 1: The student will receive a call from the telemarketer that he/she will receive a personal message via Facebook Messenger regarding (confirmation) the notice of admission.
Step 2: The student who registers for enrollment will receive a Letter of Admission (please see sample below) to formalize his/her acceptance for study in the University. It will also include instructions for the student to reply and comply with his/her Complete Name, LRN, and the word “CONFIRM”. Once received, the student will print out a hard copy of the Letter of Admission, which will be presented to the Principal during the opening of classes.
Step 3: Admitted students are encouraged to submit their report card and birth certificate immediately to complete the enrollment process and guarantee their free wifi modem with an initial load 10GB and full access to the school’s online Pegasus Learning Management System.
College/ Graduate School
Telemarketers and secretaries of each department are currently communicating with the respective students for registration and other concerns
Note: Distribution of grades will resume once they officially enroll or on the opening of SY 2020- 2021.
2. Payment Procedure
- There will be no tuition fee increase in all levels for SY 2020-2021. A 20% discount on all miscellaneous fees will also be granted in all levels for SY 2020-2021. All students coming from the public schools who are enrolling in Grade 11 or 12 in Senior High School shall not pay any tuition or miscellaneous fees but shall instead submit and register their LRN which represents the government voucher as their payment for enrollment and study in the University.
- Down payments and or payments for balances may be done thru over the counter at the Bursar’s office of the campuses or directly deposited to United Coconut Planters Bank (UCPB) or Security Bank, Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) or thru GCASH.

3. Claiming of the Free Globe Prepaid WiFi Modem
All officially enrolled students of Arellano University in all levels shall be given for free a Globe Prepaid WiFi Modem with 10GB initial load, with five terminals and a Local Area Network (LAN) port.
All Senior High School Students, upon submission of their report card and LRN only , will be given for free a Globe Prepaid WiFi Modem with 10 GB initial load, with five terminals and a Local Area Network (LAN) port.
4. School Life
- The Official Start of SY 2020-2021 will be on the following dates:
K-12 (Primary-Secondary): Aug. 31, 2020
College and Graduate School: Aug. 24, 2020
- For concerns regarding technological resource capabilities, the University shall conduct an assessment to gauge the technological resource capacity amongst its students.
- In response to the outbreak, Arellano University will be adapting the Flexible Learning Mode through its blended learning Pegasus Learning Management System which will ensure the observance of social distancing which adapts to both online and traditional face-to-face learning.
- Officially registered students will be provided with a password and username to access the online platform of the Pegasus Learning Management System. The platform will be used to disseminate teacher-made videos, quizzes, activities, etc. However, if in case, the internet is unavailable for the student, arrangements can be made with the school for the delivery of other instruction and learning modes to make sure the schooling of the student is not disadvantaged by such.
- Students who have no access to the internet will also be provided with printed materials inclusive of concept notes. Arellano University will be in strict compliance with the necessary protocols issued by the government in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Social distancing and proper sanitation will be prioritized as the school year opens. In cases concerning Community Quarantines, please wait for further announcements, especially in regard to scheduling.
