The AU Elementary Department Leads in the Celebration of Buwan ng Wika

The talents and capabilities of the students in the Elementary Department in the seven campuses of Arellano University came into focus with their presentations during the celebration of the Buwan ng Wika Week.

In Juan Sumulong High School, Daniel James Atanacio and Zian Chrystler Carvonel of the Pre-School group showed their prowess in poetry recitation, while in the Primary group Naomi Ysabel Trinidad, Katrina Fe Ramos and Janelle Raene Batalla entertained the audience with their native dances and poetry recitation.

The elementary students of Andres Bonifacio Campus showed more varied presentations: the pre-school group showed different food preparations in their Pagkaing Pinoy; the primary group presented pagtula at pagawa ng mga posters and the Intermediate group had a contest on pagtula at malayang pagsusulat ng tula.

The celebration of the Buwan ng Wika is a very important input in the development of very young students, given their exposure to the dominating language of social media.
