Data obtained from the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) revealed that the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences of Arellano University Juan Sumulong Campus produced new Physical Therapists last December 5-6, 2021 with a passing rate of 100% for its first-time takers.
The department proudly announced its successful passers and now Government licensed Physical Therapists, namely, Crystal Dawn P. Cadiz, Rea Andrea D. Dotig, Frances Camille C. Guerrero, Camille P. Latoja, Alyanna Marie D. Tolentino, and Maria Virginia Ferrari O. Tolentino. The recent Physical Therapists Licensure Examination had a National passing rate of 69% vis a vis the Arellano University 100 % passing rate of first-time takers and if retakers are included, resulted in a 75% overall institutional performance, surpassing the national standard.
The Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy (BSPT) Program in Arellano University Juan Sumulong Campus has consistently produced world class Physical Therapists based on the global standards required by the profession such as (1) patient/client care in various settings in different populations and cultures ; (2) administering and managing physical therapy programs, institutions, and facilities including private practices and delivery of home health care services; (3) lifelong learning for the development of the profession; (4) health promotion; (5) advocacy for the advancement and development of the profession; (6) community service and development in rural-based settings; (7) and research.
The Arellano University BSPT Program continues to achieve its mission of educating aspiring Physical Therapy Professionals with its dedicated professors and comprehensive curriculum, consistent with the University’s mission and vision, to serve man and community and competently serve the call of those who are in need of the highest standards of health care in all sectors of society.
