Fresh from receiving his Doctor of Education degree, specializing in Anthropology/Sociology of Education, from the University of the Philippines, Dr. Peter G. Romerosa has been appointed Dean of the College of Education vacated by the passing of Dr. Eduardo dela Cruz.
He joined the College of Education in 2000 as an elementary classroom teacher, and in 2010, he was assigned Principal of the Elementary Department. At about this time he also became a college professor, Research Chair and Research Editor in the College of Education of Education of the university.
Dr. Romerosa’s curriculum vitae speaks of a long list of research papers presented in several foreign countries and highly respected universities all over the Philippines. He has been also involved in the research and publication of several textbooks and journal articles.
As the new Dean of the College of Education he has decided to develop a program for the NCAA players of AU that would allow them to undertake the requirements of their sports without sacrificing the demands of their study.
