MISSION STATEMENT

 

Committed to a holistic, multi-dimensional, and integrative process of human development that is contextualized and culturally rooted; engages with partners in solidarity, gender fair, dialogic and co-journeying while maintaining a collective, mutually transformative and ecologically sustainable community outreach and extension programs.

 

GOALS

Provide appropriate, relevant, transformative Community Extension programs and services that would:

Empower students, staff, faculty and administrators together with partner communities to continue the process of social development towards self-sufficiency and self-reliance in nation building.

 

OBJECTIVES

  1. Increase the awareness of students, faculty, staff and administrators about urgent social issues in Philippine society, global community and specific needs of partner communities;
  2. Implement strategies for integrating the theme of peace, environmental stewardship in the curriculum of the different institutes and levels of the University;
  3. Involve leaders and members of partner communities in planning, implementing and evaluating appropriate projects.
  4. Advocate for a sustainable Community Development Program in serving partner communities.
