On June 2, 2026, the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) at pasay city was filled with pride as Arellano University held its 88th Graduation Ceremony. The event celebrated the hard work of tertiary students from five different campuses, marking the successful completion of their college journey.
The ceremony was divided into two sessions to honor all the candidates for the School Year 2025-2026. The morning session began at 7:00 a.m. for graduates from the Andres Bonifacio Campus with 773 candidates, Jose Rizal Campus with 222 candidates, and Jose Abad Santos Campus with 430 candidates.
In the afternoon, the ceremonies continued at 1:00 p.m. for the Plaridel Campus with 100 candidates and Juan Sumulong Campus with 1,374 candidates. In total, the university sent off a total of 2,899 graduates across all campuses, each ready to start their professional careers.
Leading this year’s distinguished batch of graduates were the university's top academic achievers. Analie Rose S. Maloloy-on from AU-Pasig, a graduate of Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Social Studies (BSED-SOC STUD), claimed the highest honor as the class Valedictorian. Following closely was Ashley D. Entrada from AU-Main, a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS), who was recognized as the class Salutatorian.
Arellano University welcomed Dr. Herminigildo G. Ranera, a distinguished alumnus of Jose Abad Santos High School (Class of 1978), as its commencement speaker. In an inspiring address, he shared wisdom and encouragement drawn from his prolific career as a conductor and educator. Currently the resident conductor of the PPO and principal conductor of the UST Symphony and Wind Orchestras, Dr. Ranera also leads the Philippine Coast Guard Symphonic Band and nurtures the next generation of Filipino musicians at UST and St. Paul University Manila.
As the ceremony concluded, the new alumni were reminded that they are not just leaving with a degree, but with a mission. Guided by their Alma Mater, these graduates are now prepared to navigate a professional world filled with complex challenges, vast opportunities, and a deep sense of purpose.
