On February 7, 2026, Edith Cowan University (ECU) proudly celebrated the graduation of its nursing students, marking a significant milestone for future healthcare professionals. Among the graduates were six students from the Arellano University International Nursing Program in Manila, Philippines.
Angelina Marie Realubit, Neliza Mabilin, Francesca Fernandez, Jennie Lyn Ligamzon, Abby Joy Sy, and Jessica Inacay represent the latest success stories of the 2+2 study pathway program, which has been connecting Filipino nursing students with world-class Australian healthcare education since 2009. This collaboration enables students from Arellano University’s International Nursing Program (AU-INP) to complete their first two years of Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) studies in Legarda, Manila, before transferring to ECU in Perth Australia, to complete their degree.
Upon completing their studies and clinical training, graduates are eligible to apply for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia allowing them to practice as registered nurses across Australia.
For more than a decade, the AU-INP and ECU partnership has consistently delivered strong outcomes. The 2+2 pathway has proven to be an effective model, enabling students to begin their studies in the Philippines while preparing for the international experience that awaits them in Australia.
Congratulations to our new graduates—you make us proud!
