Five of the seven campuses of Arellano University held its earthquake drill on June 16, 2018. The activity which has been mandated by the National Disaster and Risk Reduction Management Council (NDRRMC) is being done every quarter. AU holds an additional 2-4 drills every year.
In the Main Campus in Legarda, Sampaloc, Manila more than 4000 students from pre-school to college participated in the drill; this number does not include the Senior High School students whose school opening is on June 25. Administrators, faculty members, employees and workers also participated in the activity.
The event was organized by the AU Emergency Disaster Action Team made up by the Office of Student Affairs headed by Ms. Victoria Trivino, Student Personnel Services headed by AVP Grace Cayco, Deans, Program Chairs and Principals from the Basic Education Department.
