On 10th year of membership in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), Arellano University, for the first time, will be hosting the oldest college sports league in the country.
To launch the hosting, a Gala Night, also a first in the history of the league, will be held on the occasion of the turn-over ceremony between the University of Perpetual Help System-Dalta, the Season 94 host, and Arellano University to be held at The Bayleaf, Intramuros on April 24,2019. The opening of the season is on July 6, 2019 at the Araneta Coliseum.
The turnover and opening ceremonies are being managed by the Committee made up of AVP Peter Cayco, Dean Alex Laviña, Ms. Celina Cayco of the Finance Department, Ms. Isabelle Curato of the Office of Student Affairs; Ms. Anna Cayco, and Abegail Cayco of the Marketing Department and Jenica Tan, NCAA Support Staff.
Chairman and CEO Francisco Paulino V. Cayco represents Arellano University in the Policy Board of the NCAA and AVP Peter Cayco, in the Management Committee of the league. The Assistant Vice President for Marketing of AU, Mr. Valente Cayco is the Athletics Director of the University.
