Radiologic Technology is an auxiliary branch of Radiology that deals with the technical application of radiation in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. The technological advancements since the discovery of x-rays have been overwhelming that imaging evolves into one of the most needed in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases areas such as Computed Tomography (CT), Ultrasonography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional Radiology, Mammography, Radiotherapy among others.
Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology is a four-year degree program that involves didactic and clinical competency training in the different aspects of imaging sciences for the main purpose of producing quality output for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases.Â
Graduates of the program must have the knowledge to perform its tasks with confidence, effectiveness and efficiency in patient care, operation of specialized equipment in a competent and safe manner.Â
