Prof. Sherwin Punla adviser of the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management in the AU Pasig City Campus was elected president of the Philippine Association of Campus Student Advisers (PACSA), a nationwide organization established in 1981. PACSA aims to professionalize campus advising, and motivates campus advisers to become transformational leaders.
The officers of the organization were elected on the second day of the 41st Annual National Convention of Campus Advisers held via online on April 18-19, 2022 on the theme “Harmonizing Student Affairs Practices and PACSANs Advocacies and Collaborative Actions Amidst the Pandemic“. They were inducted into office by Atty. Frederick G. Dedace, Vice President for Human Resources of Arellano University, on the same day.
