The School of Hospitality and Tourism Management Offers Cruise Line Operation Course

The School of Hospitality and Tourism Management (SHTM) offers a new degree course, the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management with specialization in Cruise Line Operation (BSHMSCLO), effective for the Academic Year 2025-2026.

The course offers roles such as Guest Services Officer, Food and Beverage Attendants, Entertainment Host, Shore Excursion Managers, and more. It is open to incoming first-year students and new SY 2025-2026 students. The program promises dynamic opportunities for graduates with the growing cruise line industry.

Designed to provide world-class education and hands-on experience the program partners with industry leaders like Preceptorist Management, Magsaysay Training Center, and COMPASS, ensuring students receive exceptional training supervised by MARINA. With a focus on real-world application, students will complete 1,200 hours of on-the-job training-400 hours in restaurants and coffee shops, and 800 hours in leading hotel environments-equipping them to meet industry demands and challenges with confidence.
